If you’re the go-to person, the one who answers the questions, with the know-how to keep facilities running like clockwork, we have several opportunities for Airport Ground Handlers to join our Operations team, working on a 2:1 (two weeks on, one week off) Fly-In-Fly-Out roster across Western Australia’s remote sites. When working at the aerodrome your role as an Airport Ground Handle r may include the following duties; Check in and boarding duties using multiple systems Ramp handling duties; positioning aircraft stairs, loading and unloading baggage, marshalling, receipt and dispatch procedures Operating ground service equipment such as baggage tugs and belt loaders Communicating via radio including monitoring and answering CTAF Preparing all relevant flight documents; manifests and load instruction reports In the downtime of Airport Operations, you may assist as a Service Attendant with the following tasks; Unpacking boxes from the food delivery truck Cleaning tasks around the airport and village Helping where needed for departments across the village Who are we looking for? To be successful, you’ll need: Relevant experience Current Drivers Licence Australian Citizenship or full Australian working rights Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol testing and police check
